TGS Advisory was founded by Taras (“Terry”) Szmagala, a seasoned C-Suite executive who led the legal and GA functions of a $130 billion market cap multinational manufacturer. During his career, Terry has demonstrated a unique ability to help companies break down functional and operational silos, and to help service providers better understand the needs of their clients.
In addition to his work with corporations and government affairs firms, Terry serves as a coach and thought partner for public affairs professionals working inside organizations. Drawing on his experience leading government affairs at the C-Suite level, he helps in-house GA professionals build internal credibility, communicate their value in business terms, and position government affairs as a strategic function—not just a compliance activity.
